First Turkish built satellite, a CubeSat, the ITUpSAT1, will complete its first year in orbit on September 23, 2010. We would like to commemorate this very special day.
As a token of rememberance for this day, everybody who tracks ITUpSAT1 and records its beacon signal on September 23 and 24, 2010 will be awarded with a “ITUpSAT1’s First Year Celebration” certificate.
Everybody who wants to participate in this activity has to send their beacon recordings and observation data to the web address given below by filling in the form therein.
After the verification of the ITUpSAT1 tracking records, the commemoration certificate will be sent to the senders email address. Also one lucky participant, selected randomly among the participants, will be invited to VİSİT ITU UUBF SSDTL Department and it’s facilities.

Radio Amateurs;a new mini survey is available about ‘TR-1AMATORSAT’ project, which has been discussed in Space Technologies in Turkey and ITUpSAT1 Conference at 9 January 2010. You can select the subsystems that you want ‘TR-1AMATORSAT’ include by taking the survey.
Radio Amateurs; please send us the ITUpSAT1 tracking data recorded by you, including your personal and hardware information by filling up the ITUpSAT1 Tracking Summary Form. The recorded data will be utilized by ITU SSDTL and we will send all participants a Participation Certificate.
On 9 January 2010; Space Technologies in Turkey and ITUpSAT1 Conference was given by A. Rüstem ASLAN (Manager Of ITUpSAT1 Project and Head of The Space Engineering Department) by using EchoLink ® software, thanks to organizers Serenay and Ruha Uslu. Serenay USLU(TB9YC), Ruha USLU(TB2NMR), A. Tahir DENGİZ (Vice President of ANTRAK,TA2T), Mehmet ÖZCAN (TA5B-NA5B), Levent ŞAŞMAZER (WW2L), Ümit TOMA (TA1RF) and Veli İhsan SERİN (TB1CI) showed great efforts for the preparations of the conference. Also thanks to everyone who has contributed the conference.
İlke AKBULUT (TA2RR), Özgün SARI, Murat ULUSOY, Elgiz BAŞKAYA, Melih FİDANOĞLU, and Uluçalı ATAM (TA1FL), Gülcan TABAK and Aziz ŞASA(President of TRAC) were attended the conference in ITU Faculty of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
